Hi, I’m Charlotte! I’m 22 years old and have recently moved to Christchurch. One of the hardest parts of moving was leaving my own dog behind, so I’m really missing having a furry friend around.

Looking after your pets is genuinely something I’ll enjoy just as much as they will!

I’ve grown up in homes with animals all my life and have spent many years looking after neighbours, friends or family members pets while they’re away on holiday. I also currently look after my flatmates cat, so caring for animals is already part of my everyday routine. I’m definitely the type of person you’ll find sitting with the dogs at a party instead of chatting with everyone else!

I’m happy to care for dogs of all breeds and sizes, and I’m also comfortable looking after cats and other friendly pets. Whether your pet needs a walk, company during the day, feeding, playtime, or someone to keep them comfortable while you’re away, I’ll make sure they’re treated with the same love and attention I’d give my own.

Walks are always tailored to your pet’s needs. If they have a favourite park, beach, or walking track, I’m more than happy to take them there, even if it means a bit of a drive. I have my own reliable car and a full driver’s licence, so transport is never an issue.

I usually carry treats to help build trust, reward good behaviour, assist with recall, or provide positive reinforcement. If you’d rather your pet didn’t have treats, or they have dietary requirements or allergies, just let me know. I’m more than happy to follow your preferences or use treats that you provide instead.

My goal is to make sure both you and your pet feel completely comfortable. I’ll follow your pet’s routine, give them plenty of love and attention, and keep you updated while you’re away so you know they’re happy and in safe hands
