My name is Claire, I’m 25 years old and based in Christchurch. I’m a reliable, responsible and genuine animal lover who grew up on a farm, so caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I have plenty of experience looking after pets for family and friends, including house and dog sitting, and am comfortable caring for all types of dogs, from little companions to larger farm dogs. I love getting outdoors and would be more than happy to take your dog on walks ranging from 30 minutes to an hour, whether that’s along the beach, around Hagley Park or at their favourite walking spots. I’m also happy to adapt to your pet’s individual needs and routine, whether that means plenty of exercise and playtime or simply keeping them company and giving them lots of attention. Having house and dog sat for friends and family, I understand the importance of keeping pets comfortable in their own environment and maintaining their usual routines. I also appreciate how important it is to feel confident leaving your pets and home in someone else’s care. I’ll treat both your home and your pets as if they were my own, making sure everything is well looked after while you’re away.
