I'm a Christchurch local, an animal lover, and an experienced house sitter. For the past 1.5 years, I have been caring for pets and homes throughout Christchurch through Kiwi House Sitters and private bookings. I have looked after a wonderful variety of animals including dogs, cats, chickens, fish and other small animals, and I’m lucky to have great references from homeowners who have trusted me with their pets and their homes.

I grew up with animals, so caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life. I truly believe pets are happiest and least stressed when they can stay in their own familiar surroundings, keeping their normal routines while their owners are away. That’s why I enjoy coming to your home and providing calm, reliable care where your pets feel comfortable.

My background in teaching and healthcare administration has helped me become a patient, organised and responsible person. I have a flexible schedule around my work commitments, allowing me to plan bookings carefully and provide attentive, quality care when I am available. I take pride in being respectful, tidy and trustworthy, and I treat every home I stay in with the same care I would my own.

When caring for your pets, I can help with:

🐾 Feeding and maintaining your pet’s usual routine
🐾 Basic oral medication if required
🐾 Litter trays and general pet care
🐾 Regular photo updates so you know how your pets are doing
🐾 Collecting mail, watering plants and keeping your home secure

I don’t offer boarding at my own home as I am currently house sitting, but I’m happy to provide care in your home where your pets are most comfortable. Depending on the booking, I can offer overnight stays and sometimes 24-hour or longer care.

I always enjoy meeting you and your pets beforehand so everyone feels comfortable. My goal is simple — for you to enjoy your time away knowing your pets are safe, happy and receiving the care and attention they deserve.
