I’m an absolute animal lover and have grown up with dogs around me, so I’ve always felt very comfortable and confident caring for dogs of all shapes, sizes and personalities. I’ve had experience with everything from small dogs to big, high energy dogs, as well as the more chilled out personalities. I’m particularly familiar with Labradors, Border Collies and Springer Spaniels.

I’m currently training my own Springer Spaniel puppy, Murph, so I’m very familiar with the extra care, patience and attention that young puppies need. I’m more than happy to help with puppies too, including toilet breaks, walks, playtime, feeding and keeping them company while you’re away.

I offer home visits, dog walks and overnight stays, and I’m happy to tailor visits to your pet’s individual routine and needs.

With dog walks I will follow your lead, a normal route to you or a park near your house. Minimum of 30 minutes walk - however depending on the age and activity level of your dog this can vary. These will be based on your dog's needs so we can chat further. If you've got a puppy and it needs an enrichment walk followed by some mental stimulation I'm happy to provide this. Again, we can just chat as to what works best for you and your dog!

Home visits can include small tasks - cleaning dog bowls before and after feeds, feeding, some mental stimulation, settling the doggy, some play, hanging up your washing while letting the dog go to the toilet (sometimes there not enough time in the day!! So I am happy to help), putting your dishes in the dishwasher from breakfast before you had to rush out the door ☺️

House sitting will be dependant on your dog's needs too. I'm very safety conscious so if I need to head out for an hour I will ensure all gates and doors will be locked to protect your property and dog.

My schedule can vary, so I’m flexible where possible — just get in touch and we can see what works. On Wednesday I am currently only available after 1:30pm. However available Thursday, Saturday & Sunday all day.

I currently don’t offer doggy daycare from my own home due to limited space. However, I’m very happy to provide care in your own home, where your pet can stay comfortable in their familiar environment.

I do have Murph, who may occasionally come along with me or be around during care. If your dog would prefer some one-on-one attention, that’s absolutely fine too — just let me know.

I have minimal experience with cats, so at this stage I’m focusing primarily on dogs.

If your dog has extra needs feel free to message me and we can discuss if I can cater to them or if there is another pawshaker better suited to you.
