Hi, my name is Jacinta.  I live a semi-retired life in beautiful New Brighton and volunteer for a local Christchurch cat rescue shelter. I have always loved animals and had many pets growing up including cats, budgies, fish, chickens, mice and pigeons. Upon moving back to Christchurch from Australia a few years ago I adopted two beautiful black cats who are spoiled rotten.

Working closely with rescue animals has given me a deep understanding of feline behaviour, from playful kittens to senior cats who just want a quiet cuddle.  I know how stressful it is to leave your beloved pets behind when you go on holiday, which is why I offer reliable, high-quality home visits.  Because of my volunteer work I have years of experience looking after timid, anxious or traumatised cats who need a patient, gentle approach. 

I offer:

Tailored care. 30 minute home visits to feed, replenish water and scoop litter trays, leaving plenty of time for cuddles and playtime. 

Shelter-level Experience.  I am confident in reading cat body language, managing specialised diets and spotting any signs of stress or illness.

Medication and Extras.  I am happy to administer medications or treatment if required.

Peace of Mind.  You will receive updates after every visit and photos if the cats oblige!

I'm happy to put bins in/out, water plants, check mail or anything else that needs doing.
