I’m Arun and a huge animal lover with experience in pet and house sitting. I work remotely in IT, which gives me the flexibility to be home and provide plenty of attention and care for pets.

I grew up with pets back home in India, and since moving to New Zealand, I’ve really missed having them around. My wife and I moved to Christchurch from Auckland over Christmas this year, and we’ve done a few house sits here already. My wife is now studying early childhood education at university, and since we’re not ready to have our own pet just yet, I’d love to spend time caring for other people’s pets instead.

I have experience with both big and small dogs and understand that each pet has their own personality and needs. Whether it's regular walks, feeding, playtime, or just some good company, I’ll make sure your pet is well cared for while you're away. I also provide updates and photos so you can feel at ease knowing your pet is happy and safe.

I offer dog sitting, dog walking, and house sitting, and I’m available throughout the day—morning, afternoon, and evening. Walks are usually around 30 to 45 minutes, and I like to explore dog-friendly areas nearby in Waltham and around Christchurch. If I’m house sitting, I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of attention and your home stays secure. I can also bring in mail and water plants if needed. However, I don’t have experience with administering medication.
