I am an animal loving, registered nurse living in Halswell with my little old dog and two gorgeous children aged 8 and 4

I make sure to only book your pets when I know that we are the right fit for each other, this is super essential for your dog to have a good time and for my old doggie to also be happy.

I grew up on 10 acres - our family had a dog, 3 cats, ponies and horse, cows, sheep, chickens, pigs! you name it! This resulted in not only a love of animals, but really knowing and understanding how to care for them and how their minds work. I understand all animals are individuals and give themselves the space they need to learn to trust me.

My family- I have 2 children 50% of the time- so if your dog is not ok with kids, I still may be an option depending on dates. My children are aged 8 and 4 and have been around dogs their whole life. As much as I have tried to install all safe guards with the kids, my rule is I never trust my kids or any dog alone together. if your dog was to stay during a kid time, they would need to have experience around small children.

My dog= the first love of my life ❤️ she is a 15 yo foxy x jack russell - and in her older years has become a bit of a grouch (fair enough!!) she loves walks, playing fetch and 2 minute cuddles. I would like to mange any introductions of dogs independently as this is best for her (as I can do it calmly and on my own) and therefore your dog too 

My home- it's a smaller modern home with a small lawn. dogs have access inside and out throughout the day. they will have the option of lying in the sun or in the cooler hall way through the day. due to the size of my property can only accept small and smaller medium size dogs 

what I offer- as you will see I'm a nurse so am often away from the home in the morning hours- so your dog will need to be ok with being home alone during the work day. I have a good relationship with my neighbours and family, who will pop in during the day to check on the dogs. When I'm home your dog becomes part of my family. Car rides, walks at my near by green space, can be on or off lead as you wish, walks at quarry, and couch cuddles at night. I am also Happy to care for animals with more complex needs. Daily medication Etc. if requiring injectables i will be confident to do so if you show me how your pet likes this Same with wound dressing. pick up is a posibility (message me) and drop needs to be after 5 pm
