Hello! 😊 I'm originally from the Czech Republic, but I've spent the last 13 years travelling and living in different countries. Animals have always been a big part of my life. I grew up surrounded by dogs, cats, hamsters and fish, and although I don't currently have a dog of my own, I absolutely love spending time with animals. That's one of the reasons I'd love to help take care of yours! I have plenty of hands-on experience with dogs and cats. In Mexico, I ran a small dog-sitting business, looking after anything from one dog to a group of up to eight dogs. I provided daytime and overnight care, walks, feeding, brushing and medication when needed. I also fostered rescue dogs for Cortez Rescue & Outreach (Mexico), where I helped with their daily care, socialisation and finding loving forever homes. I even helped promote dogs on social media and coordinate flight angels for their adoptions. I've also volunteered with Dogwatch Sanctuary Trust in Christchurch, helping care for shelter dogs and making sure they had everything they needed. Through my rescue experience and introductory training, I've gained practical knowledge of dog handling, positive reinforcement, reading dog body language and providing enrichment. What I can offer: Dog walking – happy to go for shorter strolls or longer adventures, depending on your dog's needs. I'm physically fit and active! Home visits – feeding, fresh water, playtime, cuddles, cleaning litter trays and giving medication if required. House sitting – looking after your pets in the comfort of their own home, keeping them company and maintaining their usual routine. Occasional dog boarding – I may be able to look after your dog at my place, but this always needs to be checked and approved by my landlord first. I'm comfortable caring for puppies, adult dogs, senior dogs and cats, including those who need a little extra attention or medication. I always try to adapt to each animal's personality, routine and individual needs.
