I have grown up around animals my entire life. I was raised in a village in India where dogs, cats, birds, and small animals were part of everyday life, and caring for them came naturally from a young age. Since moving to New Zealand, I have spent the past five years caring for my own Border Collie, which has given me strong hands-on experience with daily routines, exercise, behaviour, and companionship. I have also cared for birds, including budgies named Shiny and River, giving me experience with feeding, cleaning cages, and providing attention and stimulation.

My motivation to be a pet sitter comes from genuine love and respect for animals and an understanding that they feel most comfortable in their own home. I offer dog walking, home visits, and overnight stays at the owner’s home so pets can maintain familiar routines while their owners are away. During home visits, I provide feeding, fresh water, playtime, basic cleaning, and calm companionship. I am comfortable caring for cats, birds, and small pets, and can follow instructions for special diets, routines, or basic medication.

Safety and comfort are always my priority: I secure doors and gates, use leashes appropriately, and ensure pets remain relaxed and happy throughout my visits. I only care for vaccinated pets and treat every animal and home with care, attention, and genuine love.

I am available for short-term as well as long-term house sitting. If you are travelling overseas or away for an extended period, I am happy to stay at your home for longer bookings ranging from several days to multiple weeks or even months, depending on availability. This allows your pets to remain comfortable in their familiar environment while maintaining their normal routine.

For the safety, comfort, and full attention of each pet, I accept only one client at a time. This allows me to focus completely on your pet’s routine, wellbeing, and individual needs.

Service Details

Dog Walking: 30-minute walks tailored to your dog’s energy and needs — $25 per walk

Home Visits: 30-minute visits including feeding, fresh water, playtime, and companionship

1 visit/day: $25

2 visits/day: $35 (30 minutes each)

Overnight Stay: Stay at your home to maintain routines, provide care, and keep pets comfortable — $45 per night

Long-Term House Sitting: Available for extended stays from several days to multiple weeks or months for owners travelling overseas. Pricing can be discussed for longer bookings.

Travel Policy: I can travel up to 8 km from my location at no extra cost. For distances beyond 8 km, a small travel fee may apply based on location (minimum $5).

Special Notes: I only care for vaccinated pets to ensure safety. Every pet is treated with patience, attention, and genuine care.

I am calm, attentive, and respectful of each pet’s unique personality and needs. For safety and peace of mind, I only care for vaccinated pets. I treat every animal as family and every home with care and responsibility.
