Hey I’m Briar, I’ve just recently graduated high school and have a lot of spare time on my hands until July next year. My future aspirations are becoming a vet nurse as my love for animals has led me wanting to continue my future career of taking care of all animals alike. I currently live with a cutie patootie ragdoll called Navy who I absolutely adore and spend my free time with as much as possible. I have also done some dog walking for a close family friend and I’m hoping to start volunteering for SPCA in my free time, as taking care of animals in need will help me expand my experience and exposure to many types of dogs, cats, and many animals. My services are pet walking, pet sitting (at owners house), and daily check ins. For dog walking the duration would typically be around 1-2 hours depending on the dogs age and typical exercise and for location once the booking has been made I would look for nearby parks and walks that I utilise to my advantage. For simple checks it would be around 25-35 minutes in It would be socialising and playing if needed, making sure the pet has access to enough food and water, and for cats cleaning the litter tray if needed. Then for pet sitting I feel making sure the pet if safe, calm, and comfortable with me before anything then once settled very similar to the check ins making sure the animals has food, water, clean litter tray and of course once that is all sorted pats, cuddles and playing. For my animals preference cats and dogs are all okay as for other animals it would depend on the needs and the requirements. For availability from November 4th I’m free and as for weekday I can do Monday Tuesday Friday Saturday and Sunday, for times if it’s simple checks in 8:00 am 7:00 pm, walking 10:00 to 4:00 pm, then for pet sitting 7:00 am to overnight stay. I’m completely fine giving doses of medication if it’s needed.
