Hi, I’m Leonie! German girl who grew up in NZ and am based in Christchurch. I grew up with cats (Tiger & Mizie), rabbits and chickens, and although I can’t have pets in my current flat, I love spending time caring for other people’s beloved pets.

I have experience doing overnight stays with cats and dogs, dog walks, and have cared for my family’s pets for weeks at a time while they were away. I enjoy getting to know each pet’s personality and always aim to make them feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away.

Your pet’s wellbeing is my priority. I’ll follow their usual routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, and plenty of love and attention. As a student, I may be out for classes or errands, but I won’t leave pets alone for more than 3-5 hours.

In an emergency

You know your pet best, I’ll contact you immediately and if needed take your pet to your preferred vet (or the nearest emergency vet if needed). I’ll also send regular photo updates so you can enjoy your time away with peace of mind.

My Services

I offer:

• Overnight house sitting - keeping your pet company, feeding, grooming, walks, playtime, litter or cage cleaning, and maintaining their usual routine.
• I'm a graphic design student at Ara, my hours are very flexible since most of my classes are max. 3 hours Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday and the rest I do online.
• I can also bring in your mail, water plants and other small chores.

• Home visits (30 - 60 minutes) -feeding, fresh water, cleaning, playtime, and lots of attention.

• Dog walking (30 - 60 minutes) - I have a car so walks can include: neighbourhood strolls, off leash dog parks, or long walks fitting to your dog's energy level.

Unfortunately as I live in a flat, I can’t offer boarding or daycare, so all care takes place in your home. I’m happy to send photo updates while you’re away so you know your pet is in good hands.
