I’m Riley, an animal lover based in Waltham, Christchurch, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with pets of all kinds 🐾

I live in a townhouse with my partner, and caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. For the past 3+ years, I’ve been providing one-on-one pet care, looking after pets in their own homes and making sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and aroha (care and affection) while their owners are away.

My 9-year-old rabbit Pepper currently lives with my mother in Queenstown, although I wish she lived with me. Caring for her over the years has taught me a lot about patience, gentle handling, and the importance of understanding each animal’s individual personality and needs.

I’ve cared for and walked dogs of different breeds, sizes, and temperaments over the years. Whether it’s daily walks, feeding, playtime, or simply keeping them company, I’m committed to helping pets feel relaxed, safe, and happy in their usual environment.

I’m reliable, easygoing, and communicative, and I know how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets.

I’m always happy to follow your instructions and stick to your pet’s normal routine so they feel comfortable and secure while you’re away.

I can also send regular updates and photos 📸, so you can relax knowing your pets are being well looked after.
