I'm an animal lover who has always had pets and I know how important it is for your fur baby to feel safe, happy and comfortable while you're away. I go away for three weeks each year myself, and I know that leaving my cat, Tabster, in the care of someone I trust - and, just as importantly, someone Tabster likes - allows me to relax and enjoy my holiday without worrying about how she is.

I'm mainly experienced in looking after cats, but I'm also very happy to care for dogs, take them for walks and do house visits for you. Every pet is different, so I can tailor my visits to suit your pet's individual needs, personality and usual routine.

A typical visit can include topping up food and water, cleaning the litter tray, playing, giving cuddles, keeping them company, or anything else we've agreed on beforehand. We can also tailor the length and type of visit depending on what your pet needs.

I work from home, so I'm pretty flexible with my availability and can often work around the times that suit your pet best. I'm based in Cashmere, Christchurch.

My goal is to make sure your pet feels happy, relaxed and well looked after while giving you peace of mind that they're in caring hands - because I completely understand how important that is.

Before you go away, I'll meet with you and your fur baby so we can get to know each other, talk through their routine and make sure it's a good fit. After all, we all know cats can be very intuitive too! From there, we can work out exactly what care will suit your pet best.
