Hi! I’m an animal lover with around three years of professional experience working at the SPCA, where I’ve cared for both cats and dogs. I’m passionate about animal welfare and understand that every pet has their own personality, needs and quirks.

Through my work at the SPCA, I’ve gained hands-on experience with animal handling, daily care, cleaning, feeding and recognising different behaviours. I'm also more than comfortable to give medication if needed. I understand the importance of patience, routine and making animals feel safe and comfortable, especially when they’re away from their owners.

I also have pets of my own, including cats and dogs, so I know how important it is to find someone trustworthy who will care for your animals as if they were their own. I want owners to feel reassured that their pets are receiving plenty of attention, affection and responsible care while they’re away.

One of my dogs are dog reactive due to a dog attack when she was young so I'm experienced at managing her, keeping her focus away from other dogs and also finding spots where there will be less dogs if not no dogs. Please note I am not very large so this is not helpful if you have a giant breed that can just drag me over to another dog so I can go on walks on busy streets to avoid most dogs possible.

I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual routines, including feeding instructions, walks, playtime, cleaning litter trays and providing updates so you know how your furry family member is doing.

I understand that leaving your pet with someone new can be stressful, and I’ll always aim to make the experience as positive and comfortable as possible for both you and your pet. I am avaliable to clean litter boxes and feed cats both before and after work and I an avaliable to walk dogs at any time during my days off and before or after work when i have a shift!

Im happy to go on your usual walks if your dog best suits routine if not if they prefer an adventure im also happy to try new places! I have not offered overnight stay for dogs at my own house due to one of my own not being adult dog social (besides her brother and a select few!) however she LOVES puppy's! I'm happy to sit wee babies if necessary over night (under 5 months) as she is very gentle and loves to mum the puppies whilst also keeping boundaries, my male dog is also super chaotic and loves puppy energy (he loves everything and everyone!) so I'm happy to socialise him whilst also socialising your dog! I'm happy to come to your house to house sit though!
