Hi, We're Tracey & Marcus, a trustworthy, responsible & reliable kiwi couple that have been house/pet sitting for over 5 years now. It started out by helping friends & family then professionally through these sites.

The kids have left the nest, & we currently have no pets of our own & we're semi-retired (before reaching our 60s), so we feel house/pet sitting is perfect for us. This way, we can still be in the company & joy of animals, which we can be fully dedicated to, as well as keeping a home & garden maintained to our high standard. We are particularly clean & tidy and only want to house sit in clean & tidy homes.

Just like people, each pet is unique in their own way, and we love the chance to get to know a range of different breeds & get acquainted with their distinctive characteristics. 

Our belief is that the best pet care service is at the pet's home environment where they feel most comfortable & secure, and we acknowledge that they're sharing their space & routine with us. 

We've owned our own pets including dogs, cats, horses & rabbits and have walked dogs & fostered kittens for the SPCA. 

I've worked with horses as a trekking guide & been the animal wrangler on a film set, so I'm confident & competent handling horses & larger animals. I've also worked as a teacher-aide & owned my own Juice Bar Business.

Marcus is a certifying plumber/drainlayer with 30yrs experience. He's currently having a break from his self-employed business of 16yrs, but he does have his van & tools on hand should you require any plumbing or home maintenance done whilst you're away, plus he's a very clever fix~it man :) 

We're active & healthy, nature loving, easygoing, quiet living, considerate & caring people & we don't smoke/vape or drink, except for the occasional glass of red wine with a nice meal.

Having owned our own businesses, properties & pets we understand the need to have your home, garden & fur family respected & cared for in safe, loving hands while you take some time away, and we can assure you we take this responsibility very seriously and are extra cautious & considerate.

Clear communication is important to us, so we listen respectively & intently to fulfil your requirements and we send regular updates & photos during the sit.

We want to make things easy and help in any way we can so that you can thoroughly enjoy your time away and relax with the peace of mind knowing your home and fur babies are getting the attention & care they deserve.

Being 2 of us we can also include gardening, lawnmowing, window cleaning, housework, etc (if required), whilst still being fully devoted to your pets.

Then you return to happy pets, an immaculately clean home & no stress of having to do anything.

We're available for any area/s of Canterbury and can do long-term or short term sits.
