Kia Ora, I am a 20 year old student based in Christchurch. I grew up absolutely loving animals and have always had a soft spot for them! 

One of my first dream jobs I had when I was very young was to be a veterinary doctor, which has now evolved more into neuroscience and studying brain & behaviour. Those interests are based on my genuine desire to understand and help those in need.

I have grown up with and taken care of birds, cats, fish and dogs- special mention to an injured baby squirrel whom I nurtured and cared for, later taken back by its squirrel mother. 

My dogs who were with me for most of my life, were both adopted by me at a young age. Both were no more than 1 year old when adopted, and I learned so much through them about dogs' growth phases - from "It is my quest to bite everything in sight" to "I'm just going to pretend like you are not here". 

So, I am comfortabe and confident taking care of your puppy or senior dog or awkward teen dog to the best of my ability. I am organized and focused on details, which makes me sensitive to any changes in behaviour or physiology of your beloved pet under my care, and I would definietly act accordingly with no hesitation! I would make sure to provide a bundle of photos/videos of your pet when in my care to you.

While most of my experience is with dogs, I am not limited to just dogs. My goal is no matter the size, scale, and age your pet is, to make sure that you and your pet feel at ease with my presence during each of my services!

I live just 3 mins away from the Hagley Park and am comfortable taking long walks, exploring and being active! Ususally, my schedule includes availability in the evenings and afternoons on weekdays and full-day availabilty on Saturdays. I am flexible with my schedule and at the moment I offer dog walking and limited care at the owner's home to start off with as a new sitter!

I am very excited to start my journey as a sitter. Additionally I am also open to helping with household tasks like, taking out the trash, watering plants, tidying up if preferred-feel free to let me know!
Lastly, I would require the equipments for dog-walking to be provided such as leash/collar, poop bags and personal toys!
