I am a caring, responsible, and animal-loving person who truly understands the deep bond between pets and their owners. My motivation to become a pet sitter comes from my own life experience — I shared 16 wonderful years with my beloved dog, who was not only my pet but my family. Through her, I learned patience, responsibility, and how important love, companionship, and daily routines are for animals.

In addition to personal experience, I also have practical pet-sitting experience. I have cared for up to seven cats at the same time, managing feeding schedules, cleaning litter boxes, monitoring their behaviour, and making sure each cat felt safe and comfortable in a shared environment. I understand that every animal has a different personality, so I always observe their mood, appetite, and energy level carefully.

When caring for dogs, I adjust activities based on each dog’s age, personality, and physical condition. Some dogs enjoy running or longer walks, while others prefer slow walks, short outdoor time, or playing with toys. I always make sure walks are safe, enjoyable, and not too tiring, and I pay close attention to signs of stress or fatigue.

During a typical day of pet sitting, I follow the owner’s instructions closely and provide structured, attentive care. This usually includes scheduled feeding, fresh water, walks or outdoor time, play sessions, and plenty of companionship. I also ensure pets have rest time and a calm environment. If a pet has special health needs, such as medication, basic health monitoring, or specific care routines, I am happy to follow those instructions carefully and responsibly. Throughout the day, I observe each pet’s behaviour and condition to make sure they remain comfortable and well.

I also regularly look after pets for friends, including both dogs and cats, when they travel or are busy. In Taiwan, I was considered a reliable and trusted pet sitter, and friends often asked me to care for their pets with confidence.

I am currently travelling along the east side of New Zealand’s South Island on a road trip, which allows me to be flexible with location and availability while continuing to provide dedicated, reliable pet care.

I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and treat every pet as if they were my own. I am calm, patient, and attentive, and I carefully follow all care instructions provided by owners. For health and safety reasons, I only accept vaccinated pets into my home. My goal is to give pet owners peace of mind, knowing their pets are loved, safe, and well cared for at all times.
