Hi, I’m Birdy! 🐾

I’m an animal lover from Taiwan, currently living in Christchurch, New Zealand on a working holiday. I’ve grown up around animals and can’t imagine life without them. Back home, I’m a proud cat mum to two sweet kitties, and I adore dogs just as much! 🐶💛

While living in Wānaka, I regularly walked dogs for local owners and also completed several overnight pet sitting bookings through the Kiwi Sitter platform. I’ve cared for dogs of different ages, sizes, and personalities, and I always aim to make them feel relaxed, safe, and loved while their owners are away.

Before coming to New Zealand, I worked as a veterinary assistant in Taiwan, where I supported medical care, helped with feeding and medication, and learned calm, compassionate handling for animals with different personalities and needs. I also spent two months caring for baby calves on a dairy farm in New Zealand, feeding them, keeping their space clean, and making sure they stayed healthy and happy.

I’m friendly, patient, and reliable, and I believe every pet deserves love, safety, and comfort while their humans are away. When your pets are with me, they’ll be treated like family and cared for with genuine love and attention. 💕

📍 Availability
• Currently based in Christchurch and prioritising bookings in the Christchurch area.
• From September onwards, I’m available for long-term house sitting throughout New Zealand.
