Hello my name is Tess, Christchurch local, originally from France, I've been calling New Zealand for close to a decade, and have lived in Lyttelton, Heathcote, Woolston (just something about those hills...)
I am now based in Woolston, and looking to go for walks with your dogs! This could be in the local parks, in the hills, or to the beach! I can accommodate to the dogs age and and energy level and need for stimulation :)

I have always loved all animals but I have a particular affinity for dogs, and grew up with one, my trusted westie Bobby. I haven't owned a dog since moving to New Zealand, but I have been in and around so many dog loving homes over the years, and my partner had a staffie/boxer Ruby, we'd go for big walks in the Lyttelton hills!
Recently we spent a year house-sitting in various homes and befriended so many new dog friends of all breeds, and were very grateful for the trust their owners gave us. I love discovering the temperaments of different dogs, and am very attentive to what their needs may be and what instructions the pet owners communicate. I have experience in listening to and trusting animals.
Being more settled into a new home in Woolston, I still take various dogs for regular walks, including our close family dog Dusty. I would love to be walking dogs in the nearby perimeter of Woolston and the Port Hills. 

I have experience walking nervous dogs, and dogs that shouldn't approach others, and try and cater the routing and walking as much as possible to the dogs needs (expressed by pet owner).

My time is quite flexible, and I can adapt my schedule to a few different pet needs. I can also come check in on your dog during the day, even though my main service is dog walking, but please don't hesitate to ask.
