Kia ora, I'm Julia! I'm a doctor for humans by training, but an animal lover at heart. My family had a farm, so I've been around all sorts of animals my whole life and I'm comfortable handling dogs of every temperament. I'm currently taking a break from hospital medicine, so I have plenty of time and energy to give your dog the care they deserve. My medical background means I'm calm, observant and reliable. I'm used to following care instructions closely, giving medications on time and noticing when something isn't quite right. I also have a background in running, cycling and triathlon, so active, high-energy dogs are very welcome! What I offer: • House sitting: I stay overnight at your home so your dog keeps their usual routine, with feeding, walks, play and plenty of company. I'll also keep an eye on the house, bring in mail and water plants. • Dog walking: 30- or 60-minute walks around your neighbourhood or local parks, with a photo update after every walk. • Drop-in visits: 30-minute visits to feed your dog, refresh water, give any medication, and fit in a quick play or toilet break. I care for dogs in their own home, which keeps them relaxed and in familiar surroundings. I'm happy with dogs of all sizes, including older dogs and those needing medication.
