Hi! I’m Emily, your pets’ new stand-in human.

I’ve grown up with dogs and have always been a big animal person. I’m also very much the person who will say hello to your dog before I say hello to you.

I have my own cat, and I love him so much! His name is Sirius and he's the most loving grumpy old man I've ever met!

I also spent a few years nannying, where looking after the family dogs was very much part of the job. I walked them twice a day and house and dog sat when the family went away, so I’m comfortable keeping up with routines and looking after a home while you’re not there.

I’m happy to help with dog walking, pet sitting or house sitting, whether you’re at work for the day or heading away for a while. I’ll make sure your pets get plenty of attention, stick to whatever routine they’re used to, and treat your home with the same care I’d expect someone to give mine.

For dog walks, I’m generally happy to do 30–60 minutes, depending on your dog and what they’re used to. I’m based in Christchurch and happy to explore local walking spots rather than doing the same lap around the block every time.

For home visits, I’ll spend around 30 minutes with your pet, giving them some company, food, fresh water, playtime and whatever else they need. I’m also happy to give basic medication if you leave clear instructions.

For house sitting, I’ll treat your home with the same care I’d expect someone to give mine. I’ll make sure doors and windows are secure, keep the place tidy, follow your instructions and make sure everything is locked up when I leave.
