Hi! I'm Clémence, originally from France and now living in Mt Eden.

I grew up with dogs, so they've always been a big part of my life. Since moving to New Zealand, I've really missed my family dog, and I'd love the chance to spend time with yours!

I'm also familiar with guinea pigs and rabbits. I used to look after a friend's guinea pigs and rabbit whenever she went away, and during my travels I completed several house-sitting and WWOOFing stays where I cared for homes with dogs and cats.

I work from home, so my schedule is very flexible. Whether your dog needs a walk, your cat needs feeding, or your rabbit just needs someone to check in, I'm happy to fit around your routine. I also walk for at least an hour every day, so energetic dogs are more than welcome to join me, rain or shine! I'm familiar with many of the parks around Mt Eden and know plenty of quieter streets for more relaxed walks if your dog prefers them.

I believe every animal is different, so I always adapt to their personality. If your pet loves cuddles and attention, I'll happily give them lots of affection. If they're shy or independent, I'll respect their space and let them come to me in their own time.

When walking dogs, I prefer using positive reinforcement with praise, treats, and affection. I like to encourage calm behaviours, such as sitting before meals or walking nicely on the lead, but I'll always follow your preferences and keep to the routines your pet already knows.

I'll treat your pet as if they were my own and make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you're away. I'm also happy to send regular photo updates so you can relax knowing they're in good hands.

Unfortunately, I can't host pets at my home because I live with housemates and a cat (Boston, the lovely black cat sitting on my chest in photo 3). However, I'm very happy to care for your pets in their own home, where they're likely to feel most comfortable.
