I’m Manuela — vegan, 36, mature, clean, and someone who absolutely loves travelling, helping others, meeting new people, and spending as much time as possible with animals!

I was born in Colombia, raised in Canada, and have spent the last seven years in Australia. I’ve just moved to New Zealand, and I’m happy to work between all of these places to continue my friendships, community, and family life while helping others get out of their homes and into travel mode.

Living as an expat, travelling on working holiday visas, and embracing a very nomadic lifestyle means I haven’t had the chance to have a dog or cat of my own. Pet and house sitting gives me the opportunity to spend time with the animals I adore — the ones who bring so much comfort, companionship, and love, especially when settling into a new place. Caring for someone’s furry family member helps me feel grounded, connected, and at home wherever I am, and I truly cherish every moment I get to share with them.
It’s also an honour to be trusted with your home and your pets, and I take that responsibility with so much care and gratitude.
