I am a 47 year old kiwi woman who has a 10 year old male chihuahua and I work from home. I am an artist so my dog and I have nice days in my sunny home. I'm very passionate about my dog and would describe myself as exceptionally caring and attentive. I used to be a nurse so have medical knowledge. I am very much an animal lover. I give the dogs loads of attention and love and can attend to special and sensitive dogs who don't want to be at busy, stressful packed out doggy day care centres. I tried my dog at them and he found it really stressful, loud and smelly. I offer very exclusive, high care, high love home environment for special souls. I have done dog sitting before but for the most part it's just me and my dog here. I do not have children and I live by myself. I could be open to a larger dog but only if they are ultra mellow and very ok with little dogs around. My home is not suited for puppies because my dog is 10 and not toleratant of puppy energy. I would say your dog is supervised 24/7 of it's time with me. I am very attentive. I love petting and cuddling dogs, as you can see from my pictures! I am available and flexible so get in touch with your dog sitting needs.

It's possible that I could also do a 'pick up / drop off' service. And I can do full days if you have long days at work yourself.

I have a two bedroom house in Mount Eden with a lot of decking. I have a large outdoor area that is fully fenced but the fence is quite aged. I don't usually let my dog out roaming around because he tends to bark but I take him outside and supervise every hour. When you dog is with me it woud get a lot of attention. I usually take my dog over to the beach each day which your dog could be part of or other walks like along Ponsonby Road. When I walk my dog it's usually for about an hour, your dog could be a part of that. I have loads of dog beds around so plenty of places for your dog to sit and rest.

One thing to note is that my dog is very allergic to grass so I have put down plastic on the ground in my garden to stop vegetation growing, it looks kind of weird but it means my dog doesn't have allergy flare ups!

All dogs must be:

- toilet trained (not flexible), 

- vaccinated (flexible) 

- up to date worm and flea treatments (not flexible)

- not have any infectious diseases (not flexible)
