🐶 Experience & care

I’ve grown up around animals and have cared for both cats and dogs for most of my life, so I’m very comfortable with their everyday needs and routines. My experience includes walking, feeding, grooming, washing and administering oral medication. I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs, and I always aim to make them feel safe, comfortable and loved. I’m happy to follow detailed care instructions, including specific feeding schedules, medication requirements and routines.

🐕 Dog walking & adventures

I typically offer walks of around 30–60 minutes, but I’m more than happy to adjust the duration depending on your dog’s age, breed, fitness, energy levels and individual exercise needs. Whether your pup prefers a gentle stroll, a longer walk or an energetic adventure, I’ll make sure their exercise suits them!

I’m based around Grey Lynn and Ponsonby, and some of my favourite areas for walks include Grey Lynn Park and Meola Creek Park. I’m also happy to explore other suitable locations and, with prior arrangement, take your dog on a special beach adventure to somewhere like Piha. 🏖️🐾

🏡 Home environment & safety

If your pet is staying with me, I have a fully fenced and secure backyard where they can enjoy some outdoor time in a safe environment. My home is clean, comfortable and smoke-free, and I’ll always prioritise your pet’s wellbeing and safety. I’m happy to discuss your pet’s supervision needs, whether they’re comfortable around other animals, and any house rules or special requirements to make sure they settle in comfortably.

💊 Medication, daycare & supervision

I’m comfortable administering oral medication and following your instructions carefully to ensure your pet stays on their usual routine. I’m also happy to provide daytime care, companionship, playtime, feeding and regular toilet breaks. I understand how important supervision is, especially for younger pets, older animals or those with specific needs, and I’ll make sure their care is tailored to them.

I’ll have full availability throughout the summer holidays and am excited to spend my time caring for animals! I’m responsible, trustworthy, patient and flexible, and I know how important it is to have someone you can rely on to look after your pets as if they were their own.
