I am a dedicated PhD student at the University of Auckland with a deep lifelong passion for animals. I currently have 4 lovely pet cats of my own, so I fully understand how precious every furry family member is to their owners.

I have rich professional pet-sitting experience back in China. I completed plenty of dog walking, daily pet feeding and home visiting care orders, and maintained a perfect 100% positive review rate from all customers. I am extremely gentle, patient and careful with both cats and dogs, and I always treat every pet just like my own family.

As a medical science researcher, I have strong observation skills and calm reaction ability. I can notice pets' health changes in time and take good care of them safely. I only accept fully vaccinated pets, to keep all animals healthy and safe. I have stable long-term residence in Auckland, flexible spare time around my study schedule, and I will always take full responsibility for your lovely pets.

I live in Waterview, with parks and the waterfront nearby. If the owner is happy with it and the dog is comfortable travelling, I have a car and can take them out to nearby parks, the waterfront or other pet-friendly places for a change of scenery. I’m also very happy to walk dogs around the owner’s local neighbourhood or nearby parks if they prefer to stay somewhere familiar. Walks can be up to around 60 minutes, depending on the dog’s usual routine, age and energy level.

For home visits, I can feed your pet, refresh their water, clean litter trays or other pet waste, and check that they are eating, drinking and behaving normally. If I notice anything unusual, I will contact the owner straight away. If your pet is friendly and comfortable with me, I’m also happy to spend around 30 minutes playing with them and keeping them company. A typical home visit would be about one hour.

I can also give oral medication if your pet is comfortable being handled and the owner provides clear instructions.

I know it can be stressful leaving your pet with someone else, so I’m happy to send photos, videos or messages during the visit. I can follow whatever kind of update the owner prefers.
