Kia ora, my names Grace and I work as a Project Manager. In my spare time, I babysit, gym and will be relaxing at our local beach or planning my next getaway trip.

I'm a ‘dog person’ but only ever had pet cats until my family got the cutest little schnauzer. I previously had two ragdoll kittens and a domestic short-haired kitten that lived to 12 years. However allergies to cats have developed and I cannot be around them anymore.

I’ve babysat family friends pug dog and baby griffin dog, both have special dietary requirements and are 3 and 4 years old. The female pug had a strict exercise and food routine and after the male baby griffin dog came into the picture I had to separate a lot of fights between the two. I feel fairly confident with handling conflict with pets because of this.
I'm often in the company of a rottweiler thanks to my close friend. She is the sweetest companion and the complete opposite of the rotty reputation. I'm pretty comfortable with all sizes of dogs.

Pet sitting/walking is a casual job for me so I’m fairly relaxed/flexible with what hours I can do. I'm available for home visits, dog walking or house sitting, whether just during the weekends or staying overnight during the week. I work freelance so am flexible with care hours. I can't have pets in my home. Comfortable with setting alarms or securing a fenced outside area for the dog in the mean time.

Comfortable with administering oral medicine, pick up/drop off, constant supervision, and grooming. I'm available in the evenings or early mornings during the week, weekends I am available all day unless stated otherwise in the calendar. With home visits I will spend a couple of hours with the pet, happy to water plants, bring in mail etc. My dog walks are at least an hour, usually closer to two hours depending on how the dog copes.

My favourite spot to walk the dogs around was Orakei basin, I usually let the dogs off the leash and play around with them for a couple of hours. I also go to western springs park and grey Lynn park to switch up the environment.
