I’m Alyssa! I’m 27 and a lifelong animal lover. Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I grew up surrounded by dogs.

Our beloved Shih Tzu, Coco, was part of our family from 2009 to 2024. She even moved with us from New Zealand to Australia and then South Africa (leaving her behind was never an option)! I also had a Dachshund called Zoe, who was an absolute ball of energy and loved to munch on hibiscus flowers in the backyard. Because of my current circumstances, I unfortunately cannot commit to having any pets of my own, but I'm excited to take the best care of yours!

I love dogs of all shapes and sizes, and all breeds. While my personal fav is a little crusty white dog, I adore cuddling with my cousins’ Rottweilers, Benson and Blair, so big breeds are very welcome too :)

I’m also a big cat lover. Our neighbour’s cat Frankie has become a permanent fixture in our flat, so I’m very familiar with the joy of having a furry feline companion following me around the house.

I live on a quiet suburban street close to plenty of parks and walking paths, making it an ideal area for walks and outdoor adventures. My flat has a small, enclosed backyard with enough space for them to have a sniff about without getting lost. I’m also happy to follow their usual routines and any specific instructions you have, so you can feel comfortable knowing they’re being well looked after while you’re away.I’m flexible with my availability and can take dogs for walks at any time of day, any day of the week.

By background, I’m a lawyer so I’m organised, responsible and reliable! I know how much our animals mean to us and how important it is to know they’re in safe, loving hands. Your fur babies will always be treated with plenty of patience, affection and attention, making sure they feel comfortable, happy and cared for while you’re away.
