My name is Sheryl and my housesitting buddy is Benji, a four year old Shih Tzu. We both love the experience of looking after other peoples pets so that you can take a worry-free break away. 

Benji grew up with cats and is very easy around them and loves to play with other dogs. He is very friendly, vaccinated, neutered and fully house-trained. If you prefer to have me on my own, Benji is always happy to go visit with friends or family.

Although I am now retired, I am very healthy and fit. When I was working, my varied background included running a Health Clinic, managing an Optometry Clinic, care-giving for elderly people, and commercial and domestic cleaning. I am a born and bred Kiwi and a grandmother of 2 lovely boys who absolutely adore Benji. I am extremely practical, reliable, resilient, clean and tidy, and a non-smoker.  

I have been looking after dogs and cats for a number of years. Benji and I love our doggie walks and he always is happier with company.

Services include:

House visits - This is inclusive of refreshing water, feeding, toileting and having companionship with your dog/s. With cats it is inclusive of feeding, refreshing water, checking litter box and some playtime. Happy to also bring in mail/water plants if you are away for a longer stay. This can be done mornings, afternoons or evenings - $27 for one visit and $47 for 2

Dog walking - We offer walks on or off leash depending on the dog/area - $30 for 1 dog and $10 for each additional dog

Housesitting - overnight stays at your house with your pet/s - $87. This is inclusive of everything mentioned above for House visits. Housesitting out of Auckland - travel expenses @ 15c per km.
