Kia ora!

Growing up, I was fortunate enough to have two dogs, two cats, and two budgies as pets (but not all at once)! I also worked on a horse farm from about the age of 12, so to say I love animals of all shapes and sizes is an understatement. After moving out of my family home and living without any pets for two years, I prioritised making my life pet-friendly again and adopted my cat, P. Nutt (she's the black and white cat in my photos), in 2020.

I've been working via Pawshake for a couple of years now and have loved meeting lots of different pets. My experience with animals, both my own and others, has taught me to be perceptive of and adhere to each pet's unique personality, needs, and preferences.

I became a pet sitter/dog walker primarily as an excuse to hang out with more animals! However, I also work as a film and theatre free-lance practitioner in Tāmaki Makaurau and am looking to diversify my income.

I currently have a part-time arts admin office job, and therefore have flexibility in the mornings and afternoons for Pawshake jobs during my commute to and from the office. If you are shift worker, and are looking for someone to visit or walk your pet when you're working late, I'm also available for evening visits. 

I'm based in Royal Oak and work in Grey Lynn, so I am most readily available for bookings within and between those areas.

I am available for home drop-ins, pickups, and drop-offs, as well as dog walks. As a dog walker, I am available for neighbourhood walks or outings to local parks, beaches, forests, etc., if you have a particularly adventurous pup! Currently, I do not offer services at my home to prioritise P. Nutt's well-being and comfort (she has strong only-child vibes).
