Kia ora I’m Hazel(Hyeji). I’m a certified cat massage specialist(according to my cat)

I’m originally from South Korea and have lived in New Zealand for over 4 years. I currently work as an online language tutor. Animals have always played a big part in my life. Through the good times and the bad, they have always been there for me. Now, I want to give back and contribute to the community that has given me so much.

I have a strong passion for animals and have volunteered at a cat rescue centre in Christchurch, helping with feeding, giving water, light cleaning, and playing with cats and kittens. I also support the SPCA through donations. On top of that, I am currently studying a Pet First Aid course to improve my skills and ability to care for pets safely.

I have a beautiful 5yo black cat. She has her yearly vaccinations and monthly heartworm, flea, and tick treatments. She is my daughter, and I brought her with me from Korea when I moved. I understand how precious your pets are and will care for them with love.

Having a cat myself, I know the basics of cat care include feeding, litter cleaning, and understanding what they like or dislike. I never force attention on a cat. I wait patiently until they feel comfortable and approach me on their own.

I also have experience living in a home with two large dogs for eighteen months, so I’m confident with dog walking. I can match each dog’s energy level and respect their safety and routine during walks.

Since I work from home, I can provide your pets with endless love and care while house sitting. I’m a good listener and pay attention to details, so I can follow each pet’s specific needs and care requirements, making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved as well as your house needs too for instance making sure doors are locked and windows closed etc.

p.s. My cat will stay with my husband in our home while I am house sitting!
