Hi there, my name is Sam and I work full-time in travel in Ponsonby. I would love the opportunity to care for your pets while you’re away and give you peace of mind that they are happy, safe, and well looked after.

I have plenty of experience with both house-sitting and pet care, especially with cats and dogs. Growing up, my family always had pets, and although they’ve sadly passed on, I miss the joy and companionship they bring. Caring for other people’s pets is a wonderful way for me to stay connected with animals without the long-term commitment.

I’m reliable, tidy, and respectful of your home. I enjoy daily walks, visits to the beach, and exploring new places, so active pets will have plenty of company. In quieter moments, I love to craft, read, and watch TV shows with a furry friend by my side.

Availability:

I’m generally available mornings and evenings on weekdays, and more flexibly throughout weekends.

Services:

I can feed, walk, and play with your pets, clean up after them, and ensure they feel comfortable and cared for.

I can also water plants, bring in the mail, and keep an eye on the home while you’re away.

Home Visits:

Each home visit usually lasts around 30–60 minutes, depending on your pet’s needs and routine.

Dog Walking:

Dog walks are typically 30–45 minutes and take place around your local neighbourhood or nearby parks.

House Sitting:

I’m available to stay in your home for the full duration of your time away. I take home security seriously — I always lock up carefully, close windows, and follow any specific instructions you leave to keep your home and pets safe. I can also supply references if required.
