About Angela
I know first hand how stressful it is to find someone you truly trust with your fur babies. Like you, I’ve struggled to find local sitters who are as reliable and attentive as I need them to be. My motivation is simple: I want to be that person for you. I treat every pet with the same care, patience, and vigilance I expect for my own, so you can have total peace of mind while you’re away.
My Experience
I am a lifelong animal lover and current owner of a cat and two large dogs. My experience goes beyond just "playing and feeding." I have navigated the challenges of post-surgery recovery, managed leash reactivity during walks with my large dogs, and I’m no stranger to the 3 AM wake-up calls for sick pets or emergency toilet breaks. Whether it’s a quiet cat feeding or a structured walk for a high-energy dog, I am comfortable handling various temperaments and medical needs with a calm, experienced hand.
Cat Feeding
I know that cats are happiest in their own environment and I take my feeding visits seriously. I'm not just there to fill a bowl, I'm there to provide the company and care your cat deserves.
A typical feeding visit from me includes:
- Fresh food and water: Bowls washed and filled to your instructions
- Clean litterbox: Making sure its clean and tidy to keep your cat happy
- Play & Social time: Whether they love play with toys or prefer quiet head scratches I will spend quality time with them so they dont feel lonely
- Miscellaneous: happy to help with bringing in the mail or watering plants while I'm there!
- Shy cats: I am very patient with nervous cats. If they want to hide, I will sit nearby and talk softly so they can feel safe without being crowded
Doggy Day Care/Boarding Services & Daily Routine
I work flexibly from home, which means pet care is my primary focus throughout the day. Your pets will join my daily flow and will never be left alone for more than one hour. I am available any day of the week and can provide 24/7 supervision for guest pets.
- Dog Walking: I offer two walks per day, typically 15–30 minutes each, tailored to your dog's energy levels.
- Outdoor Play Time: 30mins-1hr of outdoor play time (weather permitting).
- Specialized Care: I am experienced in administering medication. Basic training or grooming (brushing/washing) can be arranged for pets who are comfortable being handled by a sitter for an additional fee.
- Boarding Capacity: To ensure everyone gets enough attention and safety, I currently will host a maximum of 1 guest dogs at a time. (exception can be made for multiple dog from the same family)
My Home & Environment
I live in a cozy little cottage with my partner and our three furry family members (two large dogs and one cat. We have a large backyard where your dog will have plenty of space to relax and play:
- Secure Backyard: We have a large, fully fenced yard with high fencing and a secure, locked gate.
- Sleeping Arrangements: Guest pets are welcome to sleep inside with us. If they prefer being outdoors, we have a comfortable, sheltered deck area.
- Safety First: Because I am home most of the day, your pet will enjoy constant companionship and a structured, safe environment.
- Love and attention: As much cuddles and pats as your dog would like, whether they're highly independent or loves lots of attention, I will happily provide what they need.
Meet the Residents
Since your pet will be joining our family, here is a little bit about my pets!
- Squeak (The Boss): Squeak is our super-confident cat and the true "top dog" of the house. He spends his days eating, napping, and making sure no neighborhood cats dare enter his backyard. He is very used to dogs and holds his own!
- Artemis (The Gentle Soul): Artemis is a total velcro dog who just wants to be near the humans. He’s very vocal and loves to complain - very loudly when things don’t go exactly his way.
- Jack Jack (The Big Softie): Jack Jack is our big, boofy, high-energy boy. He’s boisterous and loves playing outdoors with new friends. While he might seem intimidating at first because of his big voice, he’s truly a "scaredy cat" at heart and is all bark, no bite.
My House Rules
To ensure a happy and safe stay for everyone, I have a few simple requirements for guest pets:
- Cat-Friendly Only: Because I have a resident cat, I can only host dogs that are known to be calm and safe around cats.
- Up-to-Date Vaccinations: For the health of all animals in the home, guest pets must be current on their vaccinations, flea, and worming treatments.
- A "Meet & Greet" is Essential: Before a first-time booking, I require a quick meet-up to ensure your dog feels comfortable in my home and gets along with my own pets.
- Honesty on Reactivity: I am very experienced with reactive dogs, but please be transparent about any triggers so I can manage walks and home life safely.
