Kia ora, my name is Nikita and caring for animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up on a farm meant I was surrounded by animals every day and gained experience caring for a wide variety of pets and farm animals, such as lambs, cockatiels, guinea pigs, rabbits, chickens, horses, and of course, cats & dogs. My current cat Chai (the tabby one in the photos), believe it or not, loves me very much - he just always looks grumpy in photos haha

I currently volunteer once a week at the SPCA in the Animal Recovery Centre, where I help care for sick and recovering cats.

I'm also studying Craniosacral therapy, which is a very gentle and safe somatic therapy (that is also used on animals) for nervous system regulation and physical healing. So, if the moment comes up, your pet may be lucky enough to receive some free somatic care during my stay! :)

I'm confident caring for all cats and would be delighted to look after them. 

I'm also happy to care for dogs, although I'd like to know a little about their breed, size, temperament, and exercise needs beforehand to ensure I'm the right fit. 

Having grown up on a farm, I'm comfortable caring for other small animals such as rabbits, birds, guinea pigs, chickens, and horses.

I'm currently flatting so won't be able to do stays at my home. I would love to look after your pets in the comfort of their own home though, feeding and cleaning their environment/ cages if needed, and giving them their well-deserved cuddles, love and affection!!

I hold a full NZ driver's license, so walking your dog is no issue for me.

I understand how important it is to trust the person looking after your pet, and I'd love the opportunity to meet you and look after your furry family member :)
