Hello! We’re Alex and Joey, a British couple in our mid 30’s. We relocated to New Zealand 8 years ago, and this is now home for us. We absolutely looooove animals, and really enjoy getting to know their personalities and quirks. We form close bonds quickly, even with the more anxious of pets.

We’re both working professionals. Alex works in Tech Consulting, and Joey runs a recruitment business from home, Monday to Friday. That means pets are almost never left alone; Joey’s home all day for company (or vice versa!).

We’ve got a lot of experience with animals of all shapes and sizes, ages, and health issues. We stick closely to each pet’s existing routine, since we know animals feel most settled with consistency, including the same feeding times, walks, and habits they’re used to. We spoil them and do everything we can to make them as comfortable as possible.

To help us save for a home of our own in the next couple of years, we’re currently full time house sitters, with 30+ 100% reviews via TrustedHouseSitters and Kiwi House Sitters. We especially love longer sits, 4+ weeks where possible, as it lets us really settle in and bond properly with the animals. We’re also proud that so many of our bookings are repeat customers, having returned multiple times to multiple different homes.

On a more personal note, we’re communicative, reliable, respectful, and just pretty normal people. We love the outdoors, camping and fishing, love to cook (and eat), and enjoy a good glass of red wine.
