About Natasha

My name is Natasha and I am 34 years old.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Biotechnology and Organic Chemistry and have completed Doctoral research to identify ways to improve the fertility of endangered species using computational biology techniques. I am currently working on tracking environmental pathogens.

I am available for dog walking in Eastbourne, Oriental Bay/Mount Victoria/Roseneath as well as pet sitting at your house in the same areas as well as Lyall bay and Khandallah.

I can also provide puppy training and babysitting services.

Dog walking:

I am of excellent fitness and would love to take your dog on regular runs around the nearby bush tracks, beaches, and parks. Each walk/run is for 1 hour minimum, and will generally be longer. I am happy to come and meet you and your dog beforehand. Please note that I am based in Eastbourne and would prefer to walk local dogs.

Pet sitting:

I have looked after pets in people's homes in Canada, Australia and New Zealand for a period ranging from 1 week to 3 months. My priority is to keep your pup happy and mentally stimulated. I will ensure I interact and play with your dog throughout the day and take them on a 1 hour walk (minimum) each day. I often go on longer bush walks and trips to the beach. I am very respectful of the homes I stay in and ensure they are immaculate for owners to come home to. I am happy to also water gardens, mow lawns and anything else that may be required.

I send photo/video updates each day so you can feel at ease with knowing that your pooch is happy and in safe hands.

Dog boarding:

I live in a beachfront house in Eastbourne near a dog friendly park and the butterfly creek walking track so it is very accessible for swims and walks. My home has a large front and back yard (fully fenced and with trees for shade). I work from home so I can provide all day supervision and companionship in between walks/exercise.

I am only able to offer this service for dogs that I have looked after before (either walks or pet sitting in your home).

Please note:

Please ensure that your dog is freshly bathed (with dog shampoo) and is up-to-date with worm and flea treatments. Likewise, if your dog gets muddy/dirty while in my care, I will bathe them :)

Please also let me know if your dog has any behavioural problems before our meet and greet.

We returned to a clean and tidy house and two happy dogs. Good communication throughout, lots of photos/videos sent. Would happily have Natasha back.

House Sitting
Cam, 2023-01-10

Natasha looked after our Border Terrier Duke over the Christmas Holiday period. It is always distressing to leave him behind, but an concerns were soon allayed as Natasha sent videos and regularly communicated with us about how Duke was getting on.

Natasha left the house in immaculate order, and made sure that we were close to home before departing.

This is the first time we have used a dog sitter, and consider ourselves very lucky to have found Natasha. We look forward to welcoming Natasha back into our house the next time we have to leave Duke at home!

A fabtastic experience!

Photos: Picture 1: Coco and Banjo are 9 month old poochi puppies (poodle/chihuahua) who i walked 5-6 times a week for 4 months in Austrailia. We went on 5-8 km runs around the coast in Sydney. I also house sat / puppy sat Coco and Banjo for 1 month over the new year break. Coco and Banjo learnt to sit, lay down, come, stay and fetch. Picture 2: Luna is a 12 week old german pointer who i initially house sat / pet sat for a week over easter. We went on bush walks in Trelissick Park near her home in Wadestown and to Lyall bay to meet other dogs and go for a swim. Luna even enjoyed going to the Sunday veggie market on Willis where she chased all the onion skins that were flying around in the wind! Luna was a really quick learner and over the week got much better with sitting, coming and laying down, she also learnt to stay and fetch. We also practiced loose lead walking which improved lots over the week. Luna has also come to stay with me and we have gone for runs in the Botanical Gardens and up Mount Vic! Picture 3: Nala is a 9 month old Newfoundland puppy who i have recently looked after for a few days along with her 1 year old brother Gabboo. We mostly just chilled out at their house as they were both recovering from surgery. Nala in particular gets very excited when it comes to treats and wholeheartedly thumps herself onto the floor when asked to lay down! Nala and Gabboo were very affectionate and I often got lost in their cuddles! So much fur!!
