I’ve had dogs in my life for nearly 28 years, so at this point I’d say I’m more “dog person” than actual person.

My heart dog was my girl Jazzy (aka Roo), who was my best mate for 17 amazing years. She was there through everything, and saying goodbye to her in 2024 for her final nap absolutely broke me. She’s still very much part of my life though - I celebrate her every year on her birthday and her final nap date with her favourite treat… Maccas chicken nuggets (yes, she had great taste). She set the bar very high for how I care for dogs - they’re family, not just pets.

Not long after, my family ended up with not one but two new additions - Isla and Bruce, a brother and sister duo from a very cute “accidental” litter (Labradoodle x Bulldog mix). They live with my parents, but I confidently rank as their favourite human. I see them every Wednesday lunchtime and stay over on Thursdays - which usually involves a mix of cuddles, chaos, and being completely outnumbered in the bed.

I’m comfortable with all kinds of dogs and personalities, and genuinely love being around them - whether it’s walks, playtime, or just hanging out. I know how important it is trusting someone with your dog, and I treat every one like they’re my own (and yes… they will probably get a few extra pats).

I’ve also got a fully fenced property with a decent-sized backyard, so there’s plenty of safe space for zoomies, sunbathing, or general mischief. And when it comes to clean-up time, I’ve got a double shower that could comfortably handle any dog… honestly, probably up to the size of a small horse. So muddy paws are never a problem.

I also choose to do at-home boarding on weekends, so your furry family member gets my full attention (and isn’t left home alone while I’m at work). I’m flexible with all diets and feeding schedules, and I understand every dog is different - especially when it comes to age, energy levels, and how much exercise they need. Whether they’re a high-energy zoomie machine or prefer a slower-paced stroll and a nap, I’ll match their routine to keep them happy and comfortable.
