Housesitting:

I have extensive experience both living with and looking after dogs, cats, small animals like guinea pigs and fish. I work primarily from home so am able to commit to spending plenty of time with your pet while you are away.

When caring for pets, I am considerate of each animal's unique temperament and needs and enjoy taking the time to get to know them. I take caring for animals very seriously and follow any instructions provided carefully. I will send lots of photos and videos so that you feel comfortable your pet is happy and in safe hands 😄.

I am available for house-sitting in areas of Auckland easily accessible by public transport and dog walking in Pt Chev when not house-sitting.

Dogs/dog-walking: I love long walks or runs depending on the dog's preference, and am always up for games and throwing a ball around! I'm comfortable with off leash where the dog is well trained, and happy to continue on with any training requirements as necessary

Background:

I grew up living with cats who were very important members of the household. I have owned fish and I have also lived in a house-share alongside a very sweet rescue dog for several years, during which time I helped to share the caring responsibilities. 

While living in the UK (2018-2025), I regularly cat-sit via the 'Cat in a Flat' app and have also cared for dogs via the 'Borrow my doggy' app. I have dog-sat for friends as well as via Trusted Housesitters, and always take care to leave the house in a clean, tidy state for the pet owner to come home to. 

Animals have always been an important part of my life, and it makes me so happy being around them especially while I don't currently have any of my own! I have also previously volunteered with SPCA, and am forever saying hello to friendly dogs and cats anywhere I can find them 😄
