Hi, I’m Waverly! 🐾 I’m a passionate dog lover with professional hands-on experience caring for animals every day.

I work for Auckland Council Animal Management at the Manukau Animal Shelter, where I work closely with dogs of all breeds, sizes and personalities. My role has given me experience with animal handling, feeding, welfare checks, basic care, behaviour and making sure every dog feels safe, comfortable and loved.

I also have two dogs of my own, Bailey and Tiger. Bailey was adopted from the shelter and is the sweetest, most affectionate girl, while Tiger is my calm, independent boy. 🐶❤️

I’m happy to care for dogs with different personalities and needs and can provide walks, feeding, playtime, companionship, toilet breaks and plenty of love and attention. I’m patient, responsible and understand how important it is to trust someone with your fur baby.

I’m generally available most days and evenings during the week. However, I work a rotating roster, so my availability can vary from week to week. Please feel free to get in touch with your dates, wants and needs, and I can let you know what my roster looks like and how I can help.

My love for dogs is something I hope to turn into a bigger purpose one day, with a dream of opening my own shelter in Tonga to help stray dogs in need. I’d love the opportunity to care for your dog like one of my own! 🐾
