Hello, I'm Abi. I've been afflicted with a curse - the place I’m renting doesn’t allow dogs.

So having a canine companion at home is off the cards for now.

I pretty quickly figured out that the next best thing is getting out and about to meet puppers. So I signed up to be a volunteer for SPCA.

I grew up with our family dog, YanYan. She's a classic supermutt - super chill, super sweet - and I miss her every day.

There’s definitely a YanYan-sized void in my life, but some good mates help fill it by letting me look after their dogs.

I walk them, feed them, hang out with them, try teach them a few tricks, and have cosy snuggles at bedtime.

I also do a bit of housesitting, and I know my way around houseplants and gardens as I’ve got a tiny jungle at my place too.

Availability

I'm usually free Thursdays to Mondays.

I live and work in the CBD and don't have a car but I'm happy to travel anywhere accessible by trains and buses.
