I'm 29 and I love animals!

I joined Pawshake to have the opportunity to hang out with all your cute pets while I can't have any where I live. I love animals, I grew up with 3 cats. I often visit my friends' pets or watch cute animal videos online. As a teen, I would dog walk, pet-sit and house-sit. I haven't had as many opportunities as an adult when I was studying, nor now with my work in youth mental health and addictions.

This summer, I'm away only briefly so will be around to support caring for your pets over the holidays. I remember how hard it was emotionally, let alone logistically, to go away and ensure my cats were loved and looked after. I'm happy to help!

I cannot take in pets as aforementioned, but I would love to check in or house-sit yours. I've looked after cats, dogs, bunnies and a chinchilla. 

Other roles I can do:

- Dog walks (30 minutes each): I'm happy to take up to two medium and well-behaved dogs at a time, but no more. 

- Basic dog grooming (Showering, drying, brushing).

- Able to feed and clean up after any pet.

- Cat play (30 minutes each): chasing toys around, chatting, giving lots of attention.

- Look after your plants and home (I love plants too!).

Suburbs: I've limited a few of my offerings to a 5km radius. I would prefer these suburbs:

Grey Lynn, Westmere, Point Chev, Ponsonby, Herne Bay, and Victoria Park. I prefer Auckland Central as I don't own a car, but I can drive. I may be open to other nearby suburbs depending on transport options.
