Hi, I'm Carol!

I work full-time in marketing in Auckland's CBD, and as someone who absolutely loves dogs but doesn't have one of my own, I'm looking to get some extra doses of dopamine by hanging out with yours.

I grew up with a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and have plenty of dog-sitting experience, including regularly looking after a black Labrador in Karekare, a month-long stay with a golden Labrador and a long weekend with a Cavoodle. So I'm pretty comfortable with dogs of all sizes, personalities and energy levels.

I'm a big outdoors person and love hiking, beach trips and exploring new places. With summer just around the corner, I'm planning on making the most of the warmer weather, and having a four-legged adventure buddy would be a pretty great bonus (with your approval, of course).

Here's what I can help with:

• House and pet sitting: Overnight stays, long weekends or extended stays. Happy to keep your pets company and your home looked after while you're away.
• Dog walking: Anything from a leisurely stroll to a longer walk for those with a little more energy to burn.
• Home visits: Feeding, playtime, toilet breaks and some company while you're out.

As for availability, I'm pretty flexible.

I work from home on Wednesdays and every other Friday, and my office is pet-friendly, so there's also the possibility of bringing your dog to work. We're right by Victoria Park, which is perfect for walks and burning off some energy throughout the day.

I'm also available for evenings and weekends, and happy to travel a little further for longer house sits.

I know every dog has their own personality and little quirks, so I'm always happy to arrange a meet-and-greet beforehand to make sure we're a good match.
