I’m 32, a yoga teacher and massage therapist who has recently relocated to Auckland and am currently looking for work, so I have good availability for pet care mornings, afternoons and evenings.

I’ve grown up with pets my entire life and have had a dog for the past 20 years. I genuinely love animals and enjoy getting to know their individual personalities, routines and needs. I was also previously a professional overseas nanny for high-net-worth families, so I’m very experienced in taking responsibility for someone else’s wellbeing, following detailed routines and managing a household.

I offer dog walking, home visits and dog sitting. Dog walks can be anywhere from 30 minutes upwards, depending on your dog’s needs and your location. I’m based in Ponsonby, which is very pet-friendly, with plenty of parks and green spaces nearby. I particularly love finding some grass for dogs to run, sniff and explore rather than simply walking on the pavement.

I can administer medication, follow feeding and care instructions, provide basic training and offer plenty of companionship, play and cuddles. I don’t offer grooming. With training, I prefer to first build a relationship with the dog so that it feels natural and positive.

For home visits, I will be with your dog for the duration of the visit and your dog will not be left alone while under my supervision. I’m also happy to water plants, bring in mail and make sure your home is secure when I leave. My previous nanny experience means I’m very comfortable managing a household and taking care of the small details.

I don’t currently offer house sitting in the owner’s home.

I’m also the proud human of Nutmeg, my exceptionally well-trained, non-shedding Cavoodle, who thinks every dog is his potential new best friend. Depending on your dog’s needs, I can bring Nutmeg along for walks or leave him at home so your dog gets one-on-one attention.
