Hello! My name is Emma, I am 28 and born and raised in NZ, animals have always been a huge part of my life.

From a young age, I was around animals of all shapes and sizes and learnt how to understand their different personalities, needs and behaviours.I grew up on a lifestyle block surrounded by dogs, cats, cows, horses and chickens, so caring for animals has always been second nature to me.

I started riding horses when I was just four years old and was lucky enough to spend 14 years doing so. Inside the house we had cats and dogs, always Birmans and Golden Retrievers, so I’ve had plenty of hands-on experience caring for and spending time with animals throughout my life.

As much as we loved our pets and showered them with affection, we also believed that love meant putting time and effort into their care, training and wellbeing, particularly with our dogs when it came to training. Growing up this way taught me that looking after an animal is about much more than food and cuddles. It’s about understanding their individual personalities, recognising when something is out of character, and making sure they feel safe, comfortable and happy.

I’m comfortable around bigger animals and confident handling them, but I genuinely love animals of all shapes and sizes. I’m also respectful of routines and instructions, and understand how important it is to owners that their pets are cared for the way they’re used to. Whether that means walks, playtime, feeding routines, medication or simply keeping them company, I’ll make sure your pet gets plenty of attention and care.

Now that I’ve moved out of home and live in a flat, I really miss having furry companions around. Pet sitting feels like the perfect way to spend time with animals, keep them happy and give them plenty of love and attention, while giving their owners peace of mind that they’re in safe and caring hands.

I work from home three days a week and available on weekends too, so I can offer plenty of company and flexibility. I’d love the opportunity to get to know your furry family and give them the same care and attention I’d want for my own. ☺️
