About me

Hey there! My name is Yesha. I'm a friendly, outgoing student at the University of Auckland looking for a flexible side hustle alongside my studies. Pawshake immediately caught my eye because I've had a genuine love for animals from a young age.

Although I don't currently own any pets due to my lifestyle of frequently moving and travelling, I've always grown up around pets owned by family and friends and have built great connections with them. My experience includes overnight pet sitting, feeding, playing with pets, and taking dogs on walks. I've cared for dog breeds including German Shepherds, Golden Retrievers, and Labradors, as well as cats such as Ragdolls and Mackerel Tabbies, and I enjoy getting to know each pet's unique personality.

I'm based on Auckland's North Shore and ideally prefer bookings in this area, but I'm happy to discuss travelling further. My availability is flexible around my university timetable, with weekends being the easiest, as well as some weekdays with advance notice. I'm also available during public holidays and semester breaks.

Before confirming a booking, I like to arrange a meet-and-greet so you, your pet, and I can get to know each other. This helps ensure everyone feels comfortable and that I'm the right fit for your pet's needs. If you are interested feel free to contact me and we can discuss further details!

Dog Walking (30–60 minutes)

• Tailored to your dog's age, energy level, and routine.

• Walks in your local area or at dog-friendly parks and beaches such as Milford or Takapuna (if approved).

• Collection from and return to your home if required.

• Includes exercise, play, water breaks, and plenty of attention.

• Available mainly on weekends, and weekday availability when booked in advance.

House Sitting

• Stay overnight in your home so your pets can remain in their familiar environment.

• Follow your pet's normal routine, including feeding, fresh water, walks, toilet breaks, playtime, and companionship.

• Administer oral medication if required and discussed beforehand.

• Clean up after your pets and keep food and water areas tidy.

• Photo updates available on request.

Home Visits (15–30 minutes)

• Feed your pets and provide fresh water.

• Toilet breaks for dogs and litter tray or outdoor area cleaning.

• Playtime, cuddles, and companionship.

• General welfare check to ensure your pet is happy and comfortable.

• Check your home is secure before leaving.

• Photo updates available on request.
