I'm over 30 and have spent my whole life with pets in the house — growing up, one of our cats was a year older than me, so I've never been without one! I've raised plenty of them from kittens into long adult lives, so I'm not scared to play with kittens during their bitey phases, nor to snuggle with little old kitties who just want to stay warm and cosy. Over the years we also had budgies, fish, rats (the pet kind not the wild kind!) and a dog (a little Bichon Frisé), so while I'm most experienced with cats, I've also lived with other animals!

Recently I spent a year in Japan on a Working Holiday, where I did some pet-sitting for cats (one bitey kitten, one anxious adult, and one sleepy elder who liked to sit on my face), dogs (two sweet little guys who always wanted to play with the kids at the park during their walks), and even degus (I didn't even know what these were before I met them!). 

I know every animal is so different, so I'm more than happy to chat with you about what you want from a visit, from showing up to refill their food and water to spending a while playing or cuddling with them to keep them company. I work remotely, so I'm pretty flexible on timings - both for arrivals and for how long I stay. If you want me to keep your pet company for a bit longer, I can always bring my laptop and we can chill together while I work.
