Hi, I’m Tony. I have loved animals for as long as I can remember, and caring for pets has been a big part of both my personal and professional life. I have around 15 years of experience in pet care, including 10 years working as a pet store manager in Shanghai. Through that experience, I became confident handling different types of pets and understanding their daily care needs, behaviour, feeding routines, and personalities.

I also have my own pets. I have three cats in Shanghai and one cat here in New Zealand, so I understand how important it is to find someone reliable, gentle, and patient when you are away from home. I know every pet has their own routine and comfort level, especially cats who may be shy with new people.

I offer home visits for cats, dogs, and other household pets. A standard home visit is around 30 minutes and includes feeding, fresh water, litter tray cleaning, basic clean-up, playtime or calm company, and photo updates after each visit. Depending on location and availability, I may be able to offer one or two visits per day. I can also help with dog walking, usually around 30 minutes, depending on your dog’s size, age, behaviour, and normal routine.

I am happy to care for cats, friendly dogs, birds, reptiles, and small pets such as rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, and other common household animals, as long as their needs are clearly explained. For reptiles, birds, and small pets, I will follow your usual feeding, cleaning, temperature, lighting, and handling instructions carefully. I may not be the best fit for pets with serious aggression or pets requiring complex medical care unless this is discussed in advance.

Because I have my own cat at home, I do not offer pet boarding at my place. I prefer home visits, as pets are often more relaxed in their own environment. If anything unexpected happens, I will contact you immediately, follow your instructions, and seek veterinary help if needed. I will always treat your pets with calm, respectful, and responsible care.
