At 45 years old, living in Takapuna, Auckland, with my partner Patrycja (39). I am a dedicated dog sitter with a lifelong passion for canine companionship. Originally from the UK, and my partner is originally from Poland, we've been residents of Auckland for the past six years, and I currently work from home with flexible hours, meaning I can fit dog walks, or pick-ups and drops in/offs around my work schedule easily. I am also very outdoorsy, enjoying long walks on the beach, we live close to Takapuna beach, which we use regularly for walks and swimming. 

This setup allows me to offer personalized care and attention to dogs in need. Though we rent our home and cannot accommodate dogs overnight, I am more than willing to provide a range of services including drop-ins, overnight stays, longer homestays, and multiple dog walks. Additionally, I can handle emergency dog care, accompany dogs to vet appointments, and make sure your furry friends are well-fed and loved. 

My background with dogs is extensive. Growing up, I was surrounded by Collies and Cocker Spaniels, including my own beloved Shandy and Digger. I have always been the go-to dog sitter, walker, and carer for friends and family in the UK. My experience includes looking after a variety of breeds, such as my sister’s
Springer Spaniel Skye from puppyhood to adulthood, my brother’s Cocker Spaniel Dusty, a friend’s British Bulldog George, and two English Staffordshire Bull Terriers, Tyler and Jolie. Since moving to Auckland, I’ve continued my dog-sitting journey, caring for a friend’s Golden Retriever Brisket. Additionally, my Polish partner’s American Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Hera, lived with her parents in Poland, and we would regularly visit and care for her since we couldn’t bring her to the UK due to breed restrictions. 

This lifelong love for dogs and animals drives my enthusiasm for dog sitting. Although I’ve always wanted a dog of my own, frequent moves have made it impractical. Hence, I find immense joy and fulfillment in providing care for other people’s dogs, ensuring they receive the love and attention they deserve
while their owners are away so they can enjoy their time away knowing their pets are in trusted hands. 

Services Offered

Dog Walking

I offer tailored dog walks ranging from 30 minutes to 1-2 hours, depending on your dog's breed and needs. I enjoy long walks and am conveniently located near off-leash dog parks, reserves, and the beach. 

House Sitting

I can stay at your home while you’re away, ensuring your pet is well cared for. If there’s Wi-Fi, I can work remotely, I’m happy to feed, walk, administer medication, groom, and bathe your pet. I also provide general housekeeping services as needed. Patrycja and I are both clean and tidy, and we will treat your home with the utmost respect as if it were our own.
