I’m a reliable, caring and responsible animal lover who genuinely enjoys spending time with dogs and making sure they feel safe, happy and comfortable. I currently have a dog of my own back home with my family in New Zealand, so I understand how important it is to know your pet is receiving the same love, attention and care they would receive from you.

I’ve also cared for friends’ and family members’ pets, including dogs and rabbits, sometimes for several weeks at a time. This has given me experience managing feeding schedules, walks, playtime, basic care and different personalities and routines.

I understand that every pet is different, and I’m comfortable adapting my approach to suit their individual needs. For anxious or nervous dogs, I take a calm and patient approach, giving them time to settle in rather than overwhelming them. If a dog has behavioural challenges, such as separation anxiety, nervousness around new people or other dogs, excessive barking or difficulty settling, I follow their usual routine and any instructions provided by their owner. I’m also happy to care for multiple pets at once and make sure each pet receives individual attention, while keeping feeding, walking and medication routines organised.

I’m flexible with my availability and can provide daytime visits, regular walks or overnight house sitting depending on what works best for you and your pet. For visits, I can provide fresh food and water, playtime, cuddles, toilet breaks and exercise. I’m also happy to stay overnight if your pet is happiest in their own home and familiar surroundings.

I love taking dogs on regular walks and can provide walks from 30 minutes to over an hour, depending on your dog’s age, energy level and usual routine. I enjoy giving dogs time to explore, sniff and enjoy the outdoors while making sure they remain safe and comfortable.

Your pet’s safety is always my priority. In an emergency, I would contact you immediately, follow your instructions and seek veterinary assistance if required. I’ll also provide regular photo and video updates so you can see how your pet is doing and feel reassured while you’re away.

Most importantly, I treat every pet as an individual and genuinely care about making them feel comfortable, loved and well looked after.
