Hello! 🌱 I’m Alys, a reliable and caring house and pet sitter with experience looking after furry and feathered friends. ☀️ I live in Auckland with my partner, our two cats Winston and Wally, and grumpy chihuahua Tito. 🐶 In my spare time I dabble in pottery and volunteer for two rescues (Fur Paws Sake cat rescue and The Dog Rescue Project) supporting with social media, fundraising, events and fostering. I have fostered close to 100 cats, kittens and dogs - this includes some super sick rescues so I have a lot of experience administering medication and supplying special diets etc. I also have experience working with dogs who are learning about the world around them and might need a little extra patience - eg. Walks in quieter spaces to avoid reactivity. I previously worked with The Dog Trust in the UK, helping to train their pups. 📸 I love photography so you'll receive plenty of updates from me while you're away!
